{"id":543,"date":"2017-01-12T14:24:40","date_gmt":"2017-01-12T14:24:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/psblab.org\/?p=543"},"modified":"2017-01-12T14:24:40","modified_gmt":"2017-01-12T14:24:40","slug":"keystone-poster-other-updates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/psblab.org\/?p=543","title":{"rendered":"Keystone Poster &#038; other updates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re at the <a href=\"http:\/\/keystonesymposia.org\/index.cfm?e=web.Meeting.Program&amp;meetingid=1447\">&#8220;Mitochondrial Communication&#8221; Keystone Symposium<\/a> (Jan 14-18).\u00a0 Here&#8217;s a <a href=\"https:\/\/psblab.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2017-PSB-Keystone-Poster-2HG.pdf\">PDF <\/a>of the poster.\u00a0 It&#8217;s essentially the same material as in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jbc.org\/content\/291\/38\/20188.long\">this JBC paper<\/a>, but with some new data at the end, on the protective effects of a dimethyl-L-2-hydroxyglutarate ester.<\/p>\n<p>Paul will also be speaking at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biophysics.org\/2017meeting\/Program\/SubgroupSaturday\/Bioenergetics\/tabid\/6761\/Default.aspx\">Bioenergetics Subgroup<\/a> of the Biophysical Society, at their annual meeting in New Orleans next month.<\/p>\n<p>The competing reenewal for <a href=\"http:\/\/projectreporter.nih.gov\/project_info_description.cfm?aid=8207217\">R01-HL071158<\/a> was submitted last fall and will be reviewed in February.
